Change of Plans!

Well, my lovelies, it has been a while! Unfortunately, I have not had enough time to dedicate to SL and finding all the freebies for a few years! But boy, have things changed as of late for the whole world with this coronavirus pandemic! Sending lots of love and health to everyone affected. While I am one of the lucky ones that still has my full time job working from home here in the states, I do have a little extra time indoors on the weekends, and will probably be filling my time with SL.

To that end, rather than shutting down all my groups and such (which was my initial intention), I decided to give a go at keeping up with things and doing a little blogging, just at a lower level. So let me explain the changes:

1. Previously, I focused on items 25L or less. Over the last few years, I have been more into sales shopping and less about freebies, so I have upped that to 69L or less. Why did I pick 69L? Well, the wonderful Fabulously Free in SL covers 75L or less, and I just wanted to be different! I am sure I may feature some things that are a little higher that are on sale if it is a great deal.
2. In-World Group: If you were a member of the SL Freebies, Cheapies & More! group in-world, you will notice that a week or so ago, I shut it down. The only way to delete it is to eject all the members, so sorry about that, it was nothing personal! It was very inactive, and there are many other quality freebie groups. And we all know group space is at a premium!
3. Facebook Group: I recently started vetting posts and adding members to the SL Freebies, Cheapies & More! Facebook group again on a more regular basis, and post are rolling in! (The group has rules, so if I cannot easily tell if something is 69L or less it will not be approved.)
4. Facebook Page: I have not posted anything on the Skyler's SL Freebies, Cheapies & More Facebook page in quite a while, but it is still there, and any posts here will be there.
5. Flickr Groups: I re-opened the Second Life Freebies, Cheapies & More Flickr group. (Also, the group has rules, so if I cannot easily tell if something is 69L or less it will not be approved.)
6. Blog: I never really blogged that much, to be honest, so it will probably be few and far between. I have updated the page tabs though!
7. Other Social Media: While I still have other social media accounts, I am not sure how active I will be there. You are more than welcome to follow me and find out! ha!

So that's it for now. Just wanted to give you an update! I'll be back soon with some super low cost Second Life finds!

Hello followers! As happens from time to time, RL has been keeping me busy for many months! While I may not have time to post on the blog lately, I am still around the grid here and there, searching for those fun midnight manias, lucky letters, and group gifts! Join my group on Flickr and on Facebook. You will find even more group gifts, freebies, and cheapies. Posts have to be approved to appear in these groups to try to make sure they are 25L and under. Sometimes you will see group gifts for paid groups that are more than 25L though. Sometimes they are just worth it!

Last Hours of the 10L Heat Wave Event @ The Wash (ends June 10!) (and my recent Skin obsession!)

I had every intention of showing you all of the fantastic skins I stocked up on at the Heat Wave Event @ The Wash (over where the FabFree HQ is!) for just 10L each! But, 1) I had some computer issues, and 2) I keeping being last minute at everything! The event ends today! I'm seriously considering turning my blog title into LAST MINUTE SL FASHION DEALS!
So how about just one picture of the beautiful Skin I bought from one of my favorite places, LUMAE! I'm loving the blue eyeshadow! 10L got me both the skin and a shape. As a redhead, I was super excited to get both a Ginger and a Red brow tattoo layer with it! There are also options for Light, Dark, and no brows, and there are additional choices for cleavage, freckles, and lashes. And it includes all the appliers. Add in some new freebie eyes from Poetic Colors, and hair that I got from a previous Mini-Mania at Alice Project that perfectly matches my Ginger brows, and I'm in love!

SL Outfit of the Day: Bright Resort at Sunset

This look was inspired by the Resort colored hair by little bones that you can pick up for free over at faMESHed this month! And when I think resort, I think flowy, beachy, comfy, yet classy jumpsuit. I just happened to pick one up just the other day at LaVian&Co for their Spring 2015 group gift. And get yourself over to the Barely Legal Couture closing sale, where I got these shoes, but EVERYTHING is 10L, and I don't know how long that will last!

Now with many color combos with a HUD for both the hair and the jumpsuit, I finally settled on a bright version for today. Now, I am sad to report, that the window is closed to join the LaVian&Co group for free. I do not know if that opportunity will come back around, but if you can afford it, it's actually a pretty good deal considering you get access to hundreds (literally a whole room full!) of beautiful group gifts, so it's something to consider! SL Outfit of the Day: Glam Beach ~ Turquoise and Gold

SL Outfit of the Day: Garage Fair Gift Finds

I know, I know, I appear to be so last minute! I didn't realize the The Garage Fair ended tomorrow! So yes, you need to head over there STAT! (Here's your limo!) SL Outfit of the Day: Whispery Light Gold Champagne

It's certainly been a while since I last posted! You know, RL! I hope to be back a little more regularly! I've been dying to post this Outfit of the Day because there are so many great free and 10L or under items here! Even some freebies and group gifts! Unfortunately, I'm still a photography newbie, so it took me a while before I settled on some! I did play with some Photoshop edits on the first two featured photos. What fun!

Hunt Finds: Best of The Dirty Diva Hunt, Part 3
